Defendant appeals from an order denying his motion to suppress evidence. The defendant, David Vance Grovier, was charged with possession of a controlled substance (24.8 grams of methamphetamine) in violation of Utah Code Ann. § 58-37-8 (Supp. 1990). Defendant challenges the order on three grounds: (1) the officer did not have reasonable suspicion to stop him, (2) defendants consent to search his vehicle was not voluntary, and (3) the search of his vehicle exceeded the scope of his consent. We affirm.
